the Learning Center
The Learning Center assists students in meeting academic goals through tutorial assistance, academic counseling, reading, writing and math skills instruction, and assistance to students with disabilities.
At the Learning Center you can receive tutoring in many course or skills area at no extra cost. Tutoring is conducted by both peer tutors (students who have taken your course and received an above average grade) and by professional instructors. You can also get academic counseling and information on all services related to disabilities, including advisement and accommodations.
The Learning Center is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM. For further information, visit the Learning Center on the fourth floor of the Koessler Administration Building or call 829-7690.

Skills Assessment Inventory
All incoming students who do not have a bachelor's degree must complete a four-part skills assessment inventory (SAI). The tests are very important as your advisor will use the results to assist in course selection.
